Payment:
All commissions require an initial payment of half of the quoted price before any work is done. Payment will be done through paypal or venmo.
Alterations:
changes and alterations are preferred to be requested at the sketching or lining stage. Larger alterations requested once a piece is near completion may result in an additional alteration charge.
Expected Turnover:
My expected turnover rate for commissions are heavily influenced by my rocky living situation, disabilities, and overall slow art style. I can despite all this give a rather reliable estimate of a turnover rate of 1-2 months depending on complexity and external factors!
At any time you can request an update on the progress of your commission. I also send out an update on most things before lining so that any changes can be easily made then.
Reference Material:
I don't generally take on drawing characters that only have a written description unless we can work out a good agreement over being paid extra to design said character.
I don't require a full reference sheet to be given, but in the case of an absense of one and as a general preference, I really like being shown a large chunk or even all art of a character lolol. Lots of references and some written descriptions are very helpful for planning.
On Fanart:
I'm open to drawing characters from pre-existing medias but will need some guidance drawing from medias I'm not entirely knowledgable on. Search through my fanart to find things you can be confident I have context for or the drawing skills for if you're unsure about an inquiry. I also prefer to not draw ship art of canonical characters from things I don't know about! Again, ask me!
Commercial use:
artwork commissioned is free to be altered and printed or whatever, go crazy as long as it's for personal use. If you want something for commercial use, do ask me and we can work something out.
I will turn down any commission request I feel uncomfortable with subject matter wise or skill wise.
